It’s that time of the year again! One season
over for some 3 months and a new season 4 months away so, to begin preparations
for the 2024 season I have attached the preamble for the 2024 AGM which
will be held, by zoom, on 26th February next. The formal agenda will
hit your in boxes around the first week in February but to give you an insight
into what it will contain the attached note sets out our proposals and some
information for you to mull over.
In a departure from last year’s preamble, we
may include items regarding ECB EDI, Anti-racist and Asylum seeker policies and
Sport England Governance requirements on the formal AGM agenda when it is sent
out in February. There are discussions afoot on these matters .
Also attached is the note giving details on next
season’s Sunday T20 competition asking for entries by the end of January. There
was more interest in this last season and the competition ,generally, went very
well. Let’s try to up the numbers for next year.
