As
mentioned at the AGM we will hold a short EGM before the captains’ meeting on 1st May next to deal with one outstanding rule change and one outstanding
constitutional change. Attached is a short formal notice of the meeting and the
two motions to be put are set out in the agenda. The proposed rule change
relates to some confusion ,on the night of the AGM, as to whether the age
changes agreed ,which related to the Premier and Championship divisions should
also relate to the rest of the league.
The second
motion deals with promotion and relegation throughout the league and I mentioned
,before sending out the AGM agenda in February, that we did not think that
there was enough time ,before the AGM, to consider the proposal.
Please let
me know if you have any queries before the meeting as there will be a lot to do
on the night and it would be preferable to deal with questions in advance.
I will
send out the captains’ meeting details along with the format for the trophy
presentation in early April.
